Grub Error 22

Grub Error 22

I recently suffered an error with grub giving error 22,This error is caused by grub not being able to find the Linux partition i deleted Linux from the partition

To solve this issue first download the vista recovery disk from

http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/

The disk is available as a torrent so you will need a torrent downloader i.e Utorrent

Set to boot from CD, On my laptop to boot from cd you need to access the bios and look at the boot order.Once the order is changes the vista recovery cd should boot. Once booted select Command Prompt and enter the following command

bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /fixmbr

This will restore the Microsoft bootloader and allow you to access windows again

nUNit – Test Runner

As developers hopefully everybody will be testing one of the most popular ways of testing is using nUNit which is an open source test framework. For these that use the framework you will know how frustrating the GUI is and how unstable it can be especially when you have potentially thousands of tests to run. At the moment i am developing a nUNit plug-in for visual studio 2005 onwards which will enable you to run nunit inside of visual studio without any extra paid add-ons such as re-sharper. I am going to develop the plug-in using c#.

I have developed a base class which handles the tests which should be completed within the next few weeks. Im also going to develop a stand alone version which will have a silverlight front end.
